The History of the Negro, Wichita Falls, Texas from 1880-1982 is a book full of illustrations, charts and photographs. Mr. Jackson was an educator/principal and Mrs. Jackson was a music educator. Both were revered in Wichita Falls as educators and philanthropists who were very much involved in the community. It is fascinating reading about the lives of negroes/African Americans during those years. Many people and churches are highlighted in this book.
